Take a look at my post for Legal Productivity! Part 1 of 2 - Productivity Tips for the Mobile Mac Lawyer
Last week, I paid a visit to Rocket Matter headquarters in Boca Raton, FL. This wasn't my first visit and I am already familiar with the product and the overall quality of the product, but it is always impressive to see such a well-oiled machine at work. In each area you can just feel the positive vibe that comes from a team that loves what they do and know they are part of something great. Even though things were quite busy, CEO Larry Port, Director of Channel Partners Dina Port and Tim Baran from Legal Productivity took time specifically to chat with me and extended incredible hospitality during my visit.
Why do I make a point of this? It's quite simple - most users of a particular piece of software only see the surface of the tool they are using. Without seeing the work, dedication and commitment that goes into providing a premium experience many facets can easily be taken for granted. In all my years being involved with too-many-to-count software companies, Rocket Matter is worlds apart from so many others. You can see the excellence and quality in every step of the process and it shows in the final product to the benefit of the customer.
Sure, there are plenty of products that come and go for any given industry or business use, but it is rare to find a company with this level of commitment to delivering the best product in its class. For those who want only the best system for their law practice; designed, supported and maintained by the best in the business, Rocket Matter is the leader.
Recently, Terry was invited by the fantastic people over at the Mac News Network, MacNN, to be a guest on their popular podcast. After discussing the growing trend in online education and how easy it is for students to virtually attend courses online, such as our own iCloud for Mac, iPad & iPhone course Terry stayed on for the rest of the podcast to chime in on a bunch of other topics in the tech world today. Give it a listen and enjoy hearing MacNN's Charles Martin and Terry cover quite a few interesting topics!
Ok, so I might be just a wee little bit biased but I think this is the absolute best business resource for all mobile professionals on the planet! If it weren't, I wouldn't be the Product Review Specialist then, right? All kidding aside, I have known Carmine De Santo, the publisher of this fantastic magazine, for years and it has been fun watching the magazine, as well as the trade show and exhibition presence grow like crazy. There are now nearly 500,000 readers and I am proud to be part of such an exciting part of the industry! It is also fun seeing your own articles featured on the cover (this particular cover features my reviews of Elgato and Sinope home automation devices).
If you use iPad or iPhone in business, you owe it to yourself to check out iBusiness Magazine. You can subscribe thru iTunes and never miss an issue! And you know there will be some awesome, killer reviews in there... just sayin'....!
